error in member upload

hi..

I had an avatar about 3 minutes ago.... and now I do not. On top of that, I am unable to upload anything.

I click on upload and get an error msg every time.

edit: to mention that I was stupid enough to waste ATS points thinking I needed to increase my upload space. d'oh.

Was your avatar too big? Did it violate Avatar Guidelines?

no.. I had a nice little Lion-O avatar with the sword of omens.... and instead of the Lion in the centrepiece.. it was the eye of sauron.

160 x 320 and small in size.

I simply wanted to change avatars... deleted my old one and wanted to upload another.

Error msg popped up and I could not proceed.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I had a member upload access error problem a short while back.

It turned out to be my firewall cookie control settings.

I have been having the same problem, but the easiest way around this little problem is to host your Avatar somewhere else I use the link below to host pictures that I have posted here on ATS. Some other members use photo bucket as well.

I use photobucket here, too much trouble at times with member upload area.

Do you access your member center from ATS, BTS or PTS? I think I remember problems when going there from PTS. So make sure you're in ATS when you hit your MemCenter button.

BTS + member upload = no good too

I checked, and yes it works okay from ATS.

so I was in fact able to upload when going through ATS as opposed to BTS or PTS.

I also like the idea of using photo bucket, etc...
