I was happy to hear that they made the ABL a demonstrator, instead of making several of them. By the time they learn all they can from the ABL, which I would assume would be around 2012, the tech will be good enough from aircraft of smaller size have a megawatt class solid state laser...and thats what should go into production, not chemical.
