duct tape is cool though

I've never had any contact with duct tape before. Never. I've seen pictures of it, but I've never had any experience with it. They don't carry it in hardware stores here.

We have cellophane tape though, and masking tape which comes in paper or plastic varieties. Finally we have those PVC electrical insulation tapes.

But no duct tape.

A friend bought a Sportster several years ago (and since purchased a bigger bike) and his airfilter came loose. He happened to have some duct tape in his saddlebag and taped it back on.

Hell, he rode around with it like this and it stayed on. He did finally get it fixed when he put the bike up for sale.
