Learning to embrace and integrate the Shadow

I am so pleasantly surprised by the power of setting an intention.

I set the intention before going to a particular industrial concert last night- I set the intention to explore my own shadow, to perhaps use the angst in the music somehow to better serve my higher self. I really was having a hard time with it being the Vernal equinox and wanting to do something more 'special' than raging at a concert- but geesh it worked out so perfectly! The artist IS BRILLIANT- the whole show was just f*ing BRILLIANT. It was a constant rush of energy, beginning at our most primal levels or lower chakra's and then a bursting of light and sound that brought this energy up up UP through the crown and into Spirit!
I had no choice but to embrace my shadow last night: It was all around me. It was a marvelous battle that ended in integration of light and dark- for we are both. I AM DESTROYER as well as CREATOR.
Brilliant f*ing brilliant! I am still at a loss for words, I am still basking in the afterglow of Experience.
