Along with Sheryl, Stevie, and Rock & Roll some of my interests have been with the Supernatural (UFO's, Ghosts, and Witchcraft)....

I have met Laurie Cabot, The Official Witch of Salem, Mass, Spoken with Wiccan Practicioners in New Hope, PA and all over the U.S.A....

I have seen unexplained lights in the sky over the Southwest including Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. I have befriended Glenn Dennis one of the last remaining Roswell witnesses from 1947 and many other UFO believers....

I have spoken with Loren Coleman, noted Paranormal author and expert who is known for his research on many weird occurances in America...

But I'd really like to know is that if any of you have had any encounters with the unknown or experienced anything out of the ordinary in your lives...

I'm quite serious about this thread and I promise not to ridicule you or allow any of you to be ridiculed for your beleifs or encounters...

So tell us about your experiences with the unknown ....

I've had some experiences with ghosts. When I was in college my dorm room was haunted. Every so often I would feel a presence sit on the edge my bed, right by my feet. About a year and a half ago, a radio station in Omaha was looking for a psychic to do a radio show for them. The psychic would give a tour of the house, and they would broadcast it on the radio. They "auditioned" a few people before they chose a woman named Madame Z. Anyways, on my audition we started from the attic, and proceeded down to the basement. The owner of the house asked if I wanted to know the history of the house, which I declined. Before we entered the house, I got the feeling that we were being watched by a young man. I stopped for a second. I almost turned around because I didn't want to continue. I went ahead with it though. I was amazed at how calm I was while the owner showed me around the house, although I refused to be the first person in the group. When we got into the "library" I turned to the owner , and said "This is your favorite room." Which it was. I also mentioned that it was the room in which the young man died which it was. Anyways, the owners of the house, and the radio representative asked me if i would be interested in giving the tour. I said, "No." Currently, I live in Okinawa, and it's pretty haunted here. My house is haunted. When I first moved in I noticed that when I'm trying to go to bed my bathroom door and livingroom door would shake as if someone was trying to open it. My bedroom is the only room on the second floor so it bothered me that i could hear the "disturbance" from my bedroom. Anyways, I went to a going away party for some friends of mine, and we started talking about ghosts. There house was haunted as well. I told them about my doors, and my friend made the suggestion of leaving the doors open. I did and they don't mess with my doors anymore.

Also, when I lived in Nebraska, I used to see the Virgin Mary. Since I've moved to Okinawa I don't see hear anymore. Which makes me sad. I've noticed that there are more people that see her as well. I'm not sure if it's more people are seeing her or if people are more willing to talk about there experiences with seeing her. I have more experiences that i could share. If you'd like to hear more U2U me.

I can vouch for the "other side of the veil".
I do not know what the afterlife encompasses, but i know that messages can be sent across in extreme situations... I received a "visual memory" from my dead mother to warn me of my step dads suicide. I won't go into details... but suffice to say... there was no question what the message was or who it was from... and that person had been dead for a month.

I have also had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, telepathy, and a very small amount of telekinesis. I do not say these things to claim that i am a "medium" or any such thing... My experiences were entirely undependable and not entirely understood when they happened. More often confusion was the only result, not functional communication or successful warning. I have related these experiences over the years with many others that have had similiar situations...

I can not help but think that this confirms scientific studies that have shown that everyone has an "intuition" that many times can prevent them from being totally surprised by an event... It also confirms special forces training that teaches that you should never think about a target that you are ambushing, because the enemy can "sense" your excited thoughts. Much like the commonly accepted practice of sensing when someone is looking at you behind your back.

It may sound strange (don't care) but i relate the phenomenon to Jungs collective unconscious. Some connection between all things that encompasses all of history...
