There really are no rules about aliens. If there are rules, who is qualified to enforce them? A new alien species is created about every other week and yet no one has fronted any physical evidence. For me it's part of creative process. I view it all from a fictional standpoint. A "what if" there were aliens.

Beyond that I will agree the subject it is based on a significant amount of hearsay. From a basic psychological stand point, most people are simply projecting an altrustic hope on a human shaped life form. I'll note that most of these people have given up on man and need to find hope in some spirirtual entity in the guise of men. Aliens know all and are here to cure us of all our self induced ills. Can't help but note how religious that sounds.

So speculation is entertaining, providing people don't get vcarried away with it or take it too seriously. In other words get offended.

OK, maybe I missunderstood, presumably you were talking about their world or worlds but the fact is, if they are coming here they are going to cold climates but, I suppose we have no idea what cold would mean to them, Siberia may be the only place on the planet they need to put their undies on for all we know.

An honest mistake.

Well, they may be going to cold climates, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are going to be openly exposed to the elements the way we are. My guess is that they would stay in-doors (in their bases, or ships, etc.) the majority of the time, and only rarely go outside.

Abductees have made many comments about clothing worn by aliens and these comments can be found online. Investigators always ask abductees about what aliens wear as it is annother method to identify them.

Many abductee reports I have read indicate that many aliens wear skin tight clothing that appears to be one layer. Often the color is similar to their skin or not much different. Rarely are pockets, or buttons or zippers or any markings etc noted on the garmets. Obviously the technology is much different than ours. The covering is said to appear to be one piece with no seams or stiching showing. In some cases it is believable that a photo would show that the creature has no clothing on at all. I think this is what we are seeing a good percentage of the time. In other cases we may be seeing pictures of dead aliens or aliens they have taken photos of in medical exams etc.
