Fault lines? Or bomb testing?

It seems to me that there have been an awful lot of "earthquakes" along the US west coast recentely, does anyone think that perhaps this could infact be bomb testing?

They are most likely just normal quakes. Bomb testing would be noticed in those areas. They are quite heavily populated.

I would've thought perhaps there is a possibility that they were tested out at sea along that coastline, it would be convienient however to believe it was a normal quake since the west US is surrounded by fault lines

The US has a series of satelites called the KillSats in orbit specifically to look for nuclear explosions on the surface of the planet. Any such explosion is immediately relayed to US Space Command at NORAD.

The KillSats are sensitive enough to pick up the high upper atmosphere detonations when small asteroids impact the atmosphere and detonate with kiloton yields without hitting the ground.
