I was beamed down in 66 the same year Star Trek first appeared.

I had fallen asleep earlier tonight. Thanks to a very loud warning siren at midnight and the former Captain Kirk appearing on TV and announcing on the History Channel that a large meteor could be coming right towards me while I'm sitting in my living room, I am now wide awake.

I just remembered, a few years ago I received a letter stating that my name was now on Mars as part of The Carl Sagan Memorial (the first rover mission to Mars). Then within a week I received another letter stating that I was an honary officer of the Star Ship Enterprise. Now I'm waiting for some angry aliens to come after me for invading their territory.

But, since you ask, I've been on this earrh for 41 years. Currently in Oklahoma City, Originally from California, and lots of places in between and beyond.

Don’t worry, you will feel old, but with the habit of feeling old for a few decades, the feeling does not get worse, or at least you will get used to it.
