Help!!! DVD Region Free Downloads?

Trying to change DVD region on my laptop (passed the limit of #times can change), does anyone know of the best free software I can dowload, or an uncomplicated hack?

programs i've already downloaded and used (but the free versions expired):

Rio DVD
DVD Ghost
Any Dvd
CSS Dvd
DVD Pro.vx

I can't say I ever tried this myself, but you might start with a site like this one. Good luck and let us know how it works out. I guess you know that you're playing with fire sort-of. If you mess up the bios on your dvd player it's going to be useless. If you think it's worth the risk, go for it. Dvd players aren't that expensive, but then again you might be better off just buying the software to do this for you if you're going to toast your player.

thanx for the tip/website. already been there though. i dont want to buy software because i'm determined to find an alternative method. but, i'll keep my eyes open. thanx for your help
