I read in (AERO magazin- Serbia and Montenegro) that China buy licence for making Suhoi war planes. I am interes in is China buy licence or information's about Experimental plane S37 (Su-47)?

Actually its spelled Sukhoi

Who knows if the Russian government has sold the S-37 plans to the Chinese. They already license build the Su-27 (I also think a few variants but I could be wrong) but Im guessing that China will try to go the stealth route with thier next genration planes as opposed to the FSW design. Just a guess though

I read about variants, and i think it's Su-30 and Su-33.
India buy also licence for Sukhoi (su-27and Su-30). It will be interest to see new India airplane carrier maybe Su-33 is on him.

China has the licensees for the Su-27 and the Su-30MKK (no TVC)
India has the licenses on ly for the Su-30 MKI(TVC)

As stated before the Su-33 and Su-30MKK have been liscenced to China for construction. As for liscencing the Su-47, I'm not too sure, but the correct designation would be Su-37MK(M and K meaning export).

Lets not start bashing China's abilities urmomma, that is not tolerated, China is capable of anything they want to, they are a rising superpower.

i would be suprised if the Russians had sold a lience to China so the Chinese could make su-37's. Purely because it doesnt make any millitary sense, selling planes that are far better than anything you own to a foreign country.

edit: i beg your pardon, i meant the s-37

I don't think Russia will be selling the S-37/Su-47 licenses to anyone in the near future, that's their gold chip. Their ace up their sleeves so to speak. X Wing Designs only able flying craft. So I'd say...no...they haven't sold it. The Su-35's or 37's are much more likely to be sold.

Su-37 is a technology demonstrator, so it would kind of be strange to see Su-37's mass produced, the Su-35 is basically an Su-37 only without TVC. If you want an Su-37 but better, go to India for the Su-30MKI.

I see no reason a forward swept wing cannot be stealthy. Granted, aircraft designed around being stealthy first, aerodynamic second have a signifigant advantage there. (F-117 for example) Still, the greatest advantage of a forward swept wing is the reduction of drag, and turbulent air behind them from wingtip vorticies.

No reason at all that the forward swept wing cannot be stealthy. American's try inverse wing's in 1960's, i think, but they have some problems with normal level's flight. That's why they abandon the project. But with fly by wire control this problem's can be solve now.
