ipod muggings... if you own an ipod your a target

i dont know if this was posted before but anywho, muggers are smart... they know if you have an ipod just by looking at your headphones, the white ipod headphones are visible from meters away. muggers also know ipods range from $179-$500 so they get their moneys worth...
has anyone ever been personally mugged for your ipod? how and where did it happen?
