Just had a thought. Lets say that you come across something like this as an article:
Priory of Sion
The Priory of Sion is fake, a group of pretenders made it up, and Dan Brown capitalized upon it in his book, the Davinci Code
First off, thats no good, its not a neutral and objective point of view. So someone who is not from ats is looking through the Tinwiki and sees that
and goes to the discussion page to argue that its real, there are documents in the national archive that pre-date the pretenders, etc.
We shoudl have a person, NAY, even a position, wherein discussion that is fit for ATS that is going on in the Article Discussion pages is herded into
a proper ATS discussion thread. That way, we will prevent extensive arguing in the Tinwiki, and also bring in some good new membership to ATS.
What do y'all think? Or perhaps we can have something where when you go to any Article Discussion page, there is a short paragraph on top that says
c.f "to discuss and debate the topic of this article, please refer to any of the
Relevant Discussion Threads noted within it. Please use
this page to discuss the article,
qua article, not to debate the merits of the conspiracy'
??
