The hiram key

Roark, I bought 'The Hiram Key and enjoyed it. Now as far as people on board looking for scholary top notch evidence (whatever). It doesn't really matter if the authors summise, or speculate, the book is laid out for the reader to decide.

Nothing is set in stone. The authors produced another book called 'The Book of Hiram' a few years after 'The Hiram Key, with updated summizations and more speculations, so what. Regardless of what people expect, the books were entertaining and interesting and I enjoyed them both.

I didn't expect anything in them in the way of truth or facts, this didn't however diminish the enjoyment of being locked away in another world for awhile and being able to summise and speculate for myself.

My missus just got me the "The Brotherhood" by Tom Dedopulous (sp?), but I suspect that the author is pretty much an apologist for Freemasonry. I'm trying to get my hands on texts from both sides of the fence, if ya know what I mean.

The Freemasons revealed the tRuth so well, it has been lost to them. Maybe I can conseal what they reveiled.

I have seen this book at barns and noble but never thought much to buy it.

Sounds just like every other conspiracy theory to me. Fountain of youths, keys to a species, nexus keys, its all a bunch of garbage to me.

If secret orginazations really existed terrorisim would still be happining? I need proof of something before I read a work of non-fiction.

I bought 'The Hiram Key' a while back and enjoyed it.... it prompted me to buy another in the series 'Uriel's Machine' which was probably even more to my taste.

When I get round to it, I'm after their book on the Invisible College.

Like others have said you have to draw your own conclusions don't you..... Not often in a book will I agree completely with an author, but I often find nuggets of info. that prick my interest and lead me onto other avenues of research and reading.

I for one recommend the book

My status as a swine is largely irrelevant to this thread, as was your lengthy and rambling description of your (albeit God-given) supernatural powers.

Don't get me wrong though. It's interesting stuff. I hope we cross paths again in another forum.

I didn't mean to imply you were swine, it's a quote from the bible. It means to not give away Holy Secrets to those who can't or won't search them out for themselves. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. My wife hates the one about "A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike." , but she still loves me, I don't know why. I must have some redeeming qualities. It's all my fault for the posts I made. I just don't know when to shut up.

Sorry about the thread, I know the Hiram Key is the two pillars, Boaz and Jachin. The Freemasons place the square between them and make the pillars into an "M". Read correctly it indicates what "Gate" the Key fits. Here I go again. Enough is enough! Somebody slap me!

If you are new to the concept that there has been a systematic effort to limit Christianity to the standard interpretation, and that this view has been brought into serious question by discoveries of "heretical" books at Nag Hammadi in Egypt, and the Dead Sea scrolls, you will have some problems with the Hiram Key.
I don't have any particular investment in the masonic thread and find it pretty thin, but any line is going to be thin, since so much material has either been systematically eliminated over the years by the "Church" either by the destruction of original material and the imprisonoing and death of heretics by the Church (most recently by the office of the "inquisition".). The Masonic line is thinner still because so much of the tradition has been secret at many levels, often oral as opposed to written, and the Masonic movement is different at different levels.
If you found all the ideas of the Davinci Code new and novel, well you will find this startling too. It is certainly food for thought, and you will want to get into the hsitory of the Dead Sea scrolls and why such a battle was fought over controlling the access to them, and over the contents. This is in complete contrast to the speed with which the contents of the gnostic library of Nag Hammadi was disseminated to the scholars of the world.
If you have had problems reconciling certain things in the story of Jesus as officially accepted by the mainline churches you may find something makes some sense here, without wanting to necessarily accept the whole interpretation of the authors. If you accept the authors statements and interpretations about how all this relates to the Masons you will percieve how the majority of the group would have no clue about this, since for most of the members it is little more than another social-service club, which has major socially important projects like their hospitals, etc.
And the normal member would not have been exposed to the inner most secret, each level is taught as symbolic secret, the only overriding requirement to be considered for membership is the belief in a supreme being.
Historically the masons have been more than service club, they have been a dynamic political group, either described as revolutionary or a conspiracy by various authors, and they were heavily involved in the American Revolution among other historical events. JFK as a Catholic is reputed to the be the first American President who was not a high degree Mason.. (Historically the Mason have not denied Catholics membership, but the Catholic Church did not reciprocate, excommunicating any church member who was known to be a Mason. The Church definately viewed Masons as their enemy!)
