Agit8dChop,
There are far too many possibilities to consider before you outright blame Iran. Yes, from one perspective Iran stands to benefit but from another
they do not. What if the US were to pull out in the event of civil strife? Then they would have 130,000 troops freed up and right next door?
Perhaps the U.S intends to start just such a civil war so that they may bow out gracefully (somewhat) and again have 130,000 said troops freed for
duty elswhere. Iran would not like that at all.
Mabye it's Russia or China who are banking on the US NOT pulling out in the event of civil war and see it as a means to keep their rival tied down
for a good while a'la the US supplying weapons to the Mujahideen during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
Or mabye it is just some radical Sunni sect hoping to create instability in hopes for a power grab. Bathists? The list of possibilities goes on and
on. To just go ahead and pin it on Iran makes it appear that you buy whatever propaganda the media throws in your face. Go on, deny ignorance.
My grammar gets worse and worse all the time...
seriously, my spelling too...
