Hey, great link and thread. That Slowdown file was kind of spooky. It sounded just like a vehicle slowing down.

I'm going to be honest guys... It sounds like straight up "Air Bubbles". Well, at least this one did (bloop wave file).

These (slowed down) & (up sweep) are a different story. Is/was there an airfield or aircraft carrier near this area?

Yeah the bloop one didnt sound great but listen to the 'train' one. I found it hypnotic like the 'OM' vibration etc.. i dont know the origional pitch of the file but i suppose that was untouched.

Thanks for the link..nice to hear them...

I have no information on music....is it possible to reproduce such an effect?

If yes, could it be a hoax....

It could be done...for funding of a project...

It could be done for publicity of the organisation...

Many more reasons can pop up...

If it is not possible,

Then, as someone mentioned could be a storm?

Do we know at what depth the monitors are? Could be the depth and pressure creating those unusual sound around rifts or rocks?

Do we have any information of sound and pressure at such depth?

There could be more clauses though, but i think we need to find some answers before we claim them to be unidentified sounds...

Thoughts guys....

According to this, some people in New Zealand can actually hear this sound or one like it.

He told New Scientist that most can be explained by ocean currents, volcanic activity -- Upsweep was tracked to an undersea South Pacific mountain that had not been identified as "live."

From the CNN article. He doesnt mention the other sounds as identified though.

well there's this wav page, of a slew of audio noises made for movies.
www.wavsource.com...

I use this link because it has the wav 7KB movie version of a UFO
you can scroll down to the alphabetical name UFO 2

*which is the typical 1950's slidewhistle woo-woo-woo-woo sound, which is actually
created by another (pre-Moog) instrument which i cannot recall the name of!
...anyhow its a start to find a re-creation of the sound you remember

also LASER, NEON LIGHT UFO& others of interest found here
