Yarcofin, dude, could you *please* use a lower bitrate for your podcasts. Five megabytes for a five minute podcast is appalling, sorry to say.

I won't post in here how to change the bitrate, as you can just easily google it and come up with thousands of posts/webpages about how to do it.

But in future, dude, please check the size of your podcasts, as not all of us have good internet connections.
We should all adopt Majic's philosophy of (paraphrasing) "I try to make my podcasts with the target audience of someone living in the poorest conditions possible, out in the bush, with only a 22baud modem to connect to the internet". Likewise, I try to keep my podcasts in 32kbps format all the time, unless it's a really short one, then I go up to 48 sometimes.

Normally my podcasts are pretty low quality and a nice filesize. I dont know what went wrong with this one. I know what you mean about the bandwidth thing though. I personally wouldn't have downloaded it if somebody else put it up . Anything over 1.5 MB I have to seriously consider. My lowest podcast was about 6:30 long and about 2 MB.

Well the truth is, I tried damn hard just to even find a program that will save files as MP3s. Sound recorder says it will, but it ends up as a WAV anyway. Tried another converter and it still wouldnt work. My free version of Goldwave won't convert it. And for some strange reason I still havent downloaded Audacity and most likely never will. Right now I use a free trial version of something called Smart Wav Converter. It only converts 60% of the original file, so I have to calculate it and add an extra 40% of silence on to the end of all my podcasts. It's quite a pain.

So if it makes you feel better, the original WAV was about 8 minutes long and approximately 100 MB. Took a few minutes to save, actually .

I'll try to squeeze it down to 3 minutes per 1 MB in the future, but the quality might get even more drastically worse than it already is .

I confess, there's a lot of stuff I couldn't understand on both of your podcasts. I guess I don't have an ear for TTS.

#-talker version 1.2 by Jaundice, uses a random tone fluctuation for each word when it uses the choirboy voice... it's a real bugger to get them right when you try to organise it for a song.

Kininigin is a word that the reptiles supposedly cannot say. Kind of an anti-illuminati joke on the internet.

lol! If I add "kill them, kill them all!" in a whispering robotic voice at the end of all my podcasts, people are going to think I'm encouraging violence.
