I would say you would have to include the surrender of radical Christians in your little equation also. Or just for the people of the world to stop 'surrendering' powers to the radicals of any sepratist Religious movement that uses fear, ignorance and hatred to coerce the people it rules over.

That's exactly the kind of comment that starts a War on Terror attitude, it gives credence to negative thought/actions

We are driven to fight amoungst ourselves by those who's power depends upon it. Our continuing conflict with one another and not our unity as one species and one energy on this planet is what allows the evil men in this world to run amok as our leaders and protectors whilst they merely protect there own power.

Thermopolis, it's alot easier to hate than it is to love, but it's liberating when you cross that line and realise that there is no need to seperate ourselves through fear.......

We are all humans and every life is precious whichever country its from. However we are dealing with an ideology that sees mass genocide and destruction as a holy mandate...how do you propose enlightening that extremist faction? I love everyone who is peacful regardless of whichever religion they subscribe to, what is imperative is our right to survive, survival is about the most basic genetically programmed human trait. Jihad is a threat to all of our rights to exist as non-muslims, if that requires irradicating the Muslims who support and embrace it then so be it.

Well....imo, there is more than only one way
the "Druze" have employed a successful survival ploy for ages,
as they have not had the advantages of exerting power over their adversaries -
or had the benefit of residing in a sancutary land, like the USA...

Taqiyya = a practice whereby one conceals their true beliefs and
outwardly accept the religious beliefs of those amongst whom they live,

How can you say that we in the west do not have genocide as part of our 'mandate'. The difference is we are in denial that our lavish lifestyles are not at the expense of peoples lives and welfare. We may not be murdering anyone directly, or promoting 'hatred', but there is blood on all our hands.

Perhaps our leaders could 'enlighten' the rest of the world and lead by example, investing in real long term solutions for the millions that are dying around the world in front of our eyes. Exchange the next new multi-billion dollar weapons system for perhaps some assistance with people who can only get coca-cola instead of drinking water and are dying of thirst, or start paying people fairly for the cheap products we are plundering out of the poorest peoples sore hands.

If we as a 'civilised' nations premote equality between humankind then perhaps there will be less fodder for the power clutching extremists in countries like Iraq to use, less anger for them to play upon, less broken families and destroyed lives for them to manipulate.

The solution isn't an easy one, it isn't just to 'love everyone and everything will be fine', but its not far off that. Our treatment of the world is a 'get what you give' situation at the moment that is about to come around and slap us in the face. Our planet is crying out and the people are crying out for fair treatment. We have the resources, but not the will from our corrupt leaders..

if that requires irradicating the Muslims who support and embrace it then so be it.

Seems like all I ever read at this site is racist americans making lame threats of wars of mass killings and/or nuclear threats..and they have this idiotic notion that the USA is the only country in the world capable of nuclear genocide..it's pathetic in it's sheer stupidity..

Understand this:
The opposing nations in this world have nuclear weapons too, and they have more of them than you think, and you don't need an ICBM to launch multiple nuclear atacks on the USA in a short period of time after the US initiated a genocidal attack, believe me they're not stupid and they know about Americas genocidal past, and the racist mentality of typical American right wing supremists-that genocide is always their first instict, hense his support for racist movements like zionism in particular..in America pulls any of that genocidal crap you'll have like 10 American cities blown away by atomic bombs..so you can have your moronic grouse fantasies but it doesn't change the fact that America is going to lose the war in Iraq and get driven out of the gulf, and that it has no military option vs Iran because it's military in Iraq is vulnerable to Iranian missiles.

This has to be one of the most unnecessary threads I have seen in a while.

It starts out by declar5ing that the radicals of Islam be killed or they surrender.

It ends with a post declaring Americans are genocidal and racist.

I say ends, because this is closed. Meaningless, knee-jerk from both sides, non-thought-provoking, brings no information, evidence or fact for ponderance, and is closed.
