No measures taken at Turin Olympics after bird flu virus detected in Italy

TURIN, Italy (AP) -- No specific precautions against the bird flu virus are being taken at the Winter Olympics after a strain of the virus was detected in the south of Italy. (taken from Olympics news).

I hope this turns out to be nothing but dont you think its kinda bad what with so many different people in Italy right now. I mean granted its in the south and the games are taking place in the north, But still.

I am sure the first lady wouldnt be in Italy if there was anything going on with Bird Flu.

The source was from the yahoo news page about the games. It stated that a strain of the virus was found in the south of Italy. The games are taking place in the north. Just gave me a feeling when i read it.

Could be the source of a world wide infection with most all countries being represented. Im not saying it is, but you never can tell!
