I don't think the site is calling the Daschund extinct Matrix, just labelling them as an old breed that's been around for a while, which is true. It's saying the same about the Basset Hound. Which, as a side note, is a great pet. I owned one years ago.

they must have evolved or soething and the legs got shorter probably because they dont use them as much.
