If I understand this forum correctly, it's a site for releasing classified information, so here goes. Here's a factoid I got directly from someone who read the specification on the "ultrasonic acoustic imaging cameras" built into reconnaisance helicopters and aircraft. "They can see a dime through 10 feet of concrete." Here's the implication: if a western reconnaissance flight passes twice over an Iranian nuclear reactor, it can tell if someone moved an item as small as a dime. "Gee, I'll bet a foot of insulation would really muck up those acoustic images."

I've got it. A metalized honeycomb would defeat both Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR, and ultrasonic imaging cameras. Just imagine all the reflections with no parallel surfaces. Trying to see through that stuff would make renormalizing the strong force look like a cake walk.

Oh, and I wouldn't want North Korea to feel left out.

Do you have that specification handy? Maybe you could scan and download it to us.

The only thing I found on this is using it for Biometric Identification or in the Medical field with ultrasound equipment for higher image resolutions...

Here is the link

Oh here is one where Lockheed Martin is developing this technology also, not only for med but for the Military as well, I should have known better!:bnghd:
