I'm kinda occupied this week and most of my time on the board has been spent catching up on SERPO.

Yeah, I know what you mean... it's been hard to pull myself away from the whole serpo thing and actually go outside and see what the sun feels like, lately.
Well at least SOMEONE is listening to my podcasts.. damn, I wish we had some counters or something that would tell us how many people are listening to our podcasts, other than the updates every couple of months from SkepticOverlord, because half the time it just feels like I'm talking to a brick wall here, hahaha!
Apparently there's thousands of people subscribed to the podfeeds through iTunes?? It would be great to see how many people are actually LISTENING to and DOWNLOADING our podcasts, because the number of pageviews in the Podcasts forum would tell me that barely anybody listens to them... and that would be sad indeed.
Needless to say, I'm going to keep making them anyways, even if only two or three people listen to them. At least SOMEONE is listening.

Hey! I'm listening in all the time as well. At least I will be when I get back home tonight. I find Podcasts difficult to reply to, you know. When you are reviewing a normal thread to post something, you can just scan through very quickly. With a PodThread, you need to have a very good memory, or else listen to all the Podcasts in that thread to get an idea of what to contribute.

Anyone else got that problem? Any good ideas? I usually jot down notes while I am listening to a PodThread I am interested in, for what points to make, but someone usually beats me to it, usually Mr. Wupy, but recently that dark horse Mr. Heretic has been coming through with the best replies before I can even fire up Audacity!!

p.s. SkepticOverlord: Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please counters!! I know I didn't get my spellchecker yet, but the counters Nrky mentioned would be awesome instead!

Sometimes a bit behind, but I listen. As for me, getting over a cold resting at the moment. I will be back podcasting tomorrow night. I guarantee it!

I loved the song Nrky, that had me smiling from ear to ear.

I try to podcast when I can. Life was hectic for awhile around here. My son was in the hospital and it was really serious, they ended up having to remove a pretty good part of his left lung. So now he's out of the hospital and living back with me for god only knows how long. On one hand i'm glad he's here considering he damn near died. On the other hand I miss the peace and quiet of being alone. The doctors won't release him to go back to work for several more weeks so I have no idea when i'll have the peace and quiet to get back to some serious podcasting.

I think the idea about counters is actually a pretty good one. I hope someone is listening and give it some serious thought.

I apologize for my..... essentially several-month-long podcasting absence, with a couple of exceptions. Haha.

I can't vouche for everyone else, but.... I dunno... I just havent had the effort to make any podcasts lately, and I also don't really have any more topics. Time that I won't get interrupted by family members and made fun for talking to the computer is also relatively difficult to come by.

So yeah... I'm still on ATS pretty much daily. Posting. In the chat. Download a couple podcasts once and a while. Just not making them lately, whether that is fortunate or unfortunate for the listeners, I'm not sure. Lol yeah and Serpo alone is hard enough for me to follow, without throwing podcasting into the mix.

Edit: Nah on second thought, I'm really, really lazy.

I'll record me playing Camptown Races on the keyboard so you can have actual music in your song though if you want. lol.

lol, unfortunately, you'll notice that I don't really have any sense of rhythm in this song, because I was reading it off of a list of the people who had done more than five podcasts, and got stuck a couple of times. I was going to record myself playing camptown races (with melody and chorus order edited to go with the lyrical form in this version) on my keyboard, but I couldn't be bothered. ^_^

Sorry for my absence everyone! I tried to make a PODcast but I accidently cut it off halfway through so I've just edited the post.
I was gone mostly, because of school. I've had alot on my plate lately and I couldn't find time to make a PODcast. I am planing on this big science project thing so I don't think I'll be making one any time soon. I do hope BenevolentHeretic didn't cry too much because I left?

As it takes alot of effort to make a good report,I cannot find time to make them. I will keep doing them as much as possible.I think there is alot of casts being made nowadays.but expect the next Scarecrow Report soon.
