Eager to Believe

That may seem like little to you, but that is too much to ask of me. I do not believe that, and I will not say I do unless I do. It is hard to imagine that ever happening. I believe atheists, and spiritual people of all stripes are equally righteous, all things being equal. The attitudes, words, and actions of the individual is what I look at. Be it Gandhi, or Jerry Falwell, I note the persons religious affiliation, but it does not affect how loving I perceive their hearts to be.

What you are all missing is that believing in the Christian message and accepting it is contrary to all that the Ego is all about.

How relevant would the message be, if when you died, you simply remained dead forever after that; no heaven or hell, no resurrection, no judgement, etc., and also suppose that god did not intervene in any way in the present?

Convince me that the message would still be relevant if there was nothing in it for you.
