ATS Sonic Boom Log

I'm starting this thread in the hopes of being able to roughly track the movement of certain aircraft if enough people on ATS report sonic booms they hear. This forum seemed applicable to me, but if someone thinks otherwise, feel free to move it.

As I've posted in other threads, at intervals ranging from months to weeks, I hear a sonic boom here in Southeast Arizona. The last time I saw a contrail and the aircraft was flying very high, very fast, and headed West. It was also somewhat south of here and was probably right near the Mexico border or on that side of it.

Now, obviously, not all sonic booms are going to be anything spectacular, but some may be. We'll see if anything comes of it.

So, when anyone hears a sonic boom, post the date and time (and your time zone) you heard it as well as the location you are at. Also, if you are able to see what caused it, indicate what direction it is flying. And if you can identify what kind of aircraft it was, mark that down too. I'll start with the one I heard a few days ago.
