11 year old girl overdoses on heroin

An 11 year old girl from Glasgow has overdosed on heroin its seems that she collapsed in school

It's thought the girl bought the £10 bag of heroin from a dealer trading around this shopping centre in Pollok and it seems that this may not have been her first time purchasing the drug. It's thought that she told Doctors that she had been smoking it for around two months.

Now is this not a little bit odd to anyone and its been reported that another 14 year old girl died from an overdose and what sort of 11 girl would do heroin in the first place!! :shk:

what sort of girl would know about Heroin, let alone how to burn and use it!

well at least she didnt inject it, only smoke it... ( i know it is no excuse but injections are more deadly).

i was playing with barbie dolls at 11.... she must have seen it being done before... most likely her parents... also i know people who have been on Heroin and you could easy see they were taking it! so where were her parents.... they should have noticed.... or were they drugged as well!

it is sick... makes me sad.... kiddies now days are knowing to much about sex and drugs in my opinion.

That's awful. Where has childhood gone? It doesnt seem to exist much anymore...

I think that kids have always been clued up, when I was 11 years old (some years ago now) I was aware of what smack was but that didn't make me want to do it.

That fact is that kids these days just don't care about consequences of their actions beause there are none. Kids can literally get away with anything they want as the parents are responsible up to a certain age. But the problem is further sdded to when the parents are limited to how they can dicipline the child due to strict rules from walfare and social services.

Kids do not answer to anyone, not the law or to the parents or to the teachers.

What kids these days need is to be protected but also to be punished fairly. If children are not punished sufficiently for doing wrong then they have no reason to fear the consequences of their actions.

The stroy of the young girl smoking Heroine is not a lone case unfortunately..
