How can I support ATS?

I assume there is a way to become a supporting member of ATS, by donating a certain amount of money every month, or a one-time gift or something. I've looked over the main page, and the FAQ, and this forum, and I can't find out how to do this.

I believe this is a critical time in the existence of ATS. Despite the healthy numbers of members, there are certain principles of free speech and privacy that are under attack, and I want to make sure that ATS exists to provide a forum for the discussion of the most difficult issues of our time. I want to make sure that the operators of ATS have what they need to resist the forces from without and within that would endanger the dissemination of this important information.

Can someone please tell me if there's a way to donate, or "upgrade" my membership or some other way to financially support ATS?

Actually, yes there is, and you are doing so right here in this thread.

By posting your thoughts, ideas, and opinions you are actually making a contribution to the ATS community.

It's FREE, and all you need to do is observe a few common sense rules and overall proper board etiquette.

That's very much appreciated, but through advertising, the baord is now self-sufficient, for the most part.

However, I am a little short this month so look for an u2u with my home address....

Wha tyou can do is click on an ad or two when you think of it, that would help a lot! There are some good offers, too. I've ordered a couple things, myself. Darned spontaneous shopping disorder! Somebody please, take my credit card away from me!

I'm sure you could buy some ATS merchandise, which I have yet to do myself because they don't have any baby doll shirts for men, you know ones with broader shoulders maybe.

That is a very nice thing to offer.

As the others have said, you are doing what you need to be allready.

I think if you realy want to do something to support them, spread the word, and maybe take alook at some of the ad's as i think, correct me if im wrong, this increases the advertising revanue.

I think there should be a donate button as I've been reading abovetopserect for some time now and I don’t post much, just enjoy the reading (boy do I read to much). It’s my number one site!

Would ease my conscience a bit if I could donate, I do click on the ads that interest me.

All we've ever asked, and all we will ever ask, is that you create quality posts.

That's it.

That's our only "business model" if you will.

So far, it's proved successful.

The best thing you can do is just be here reading and posting, while following the rules of course!

Just spend time adding to the site, while you take from it.

The whole purpose of the site is to "Deny Ignorance" and the only way we can do that is to discuss everything and anything [within the T&C's] and then add to it.

Place your own view in, give us something to help Deny Ignorance and take from the site the truth.
