This report was done in France with top level military and scientific personal. It was a very good investigation into UFOs. Why the COMETA report hasn't been reported on more is beyond me. They pretty much say in the report that UFOs are real and the chances are good that some are operated by Extraterrestrials. Some very good reports from Air Force pilots are in this COMETA report as well as physical evidence from UFO landings.

Scroll down a little bit and you will see the report. You need Adobe to read it.

Bump for the disclosure fans . . .

Old news guys. And it amounts to nothing anyway. This "report" didn't blow the doors off for anyone even remotely interested in this topic. It contributed nothing to the subject anyway.

If this waste of an investigation led to anything worthwhile you would be reading about on here every day. But you not. It should not be a mystery why your not.

The only thing investigations and reports like this -could- be good for is applying pressure to the world governments to properly disclose things they are holding back. But I personally feel as if there is nothing to disclose by any government organization. Those who insist there are have never worked with the government before....lol.

Good job! Dismiss a significant report from high ranking French scientists and military officers as nothing and then imply you're a government "insider."

I'm impressed . . .

The COMETA report was not an official investigation nor was it commissioned by any part of the French government. It was the work of a private group, though they were once former high-ranking officials in the French government, none held any formal role at the time of the report.

Government insider, hardly. Successful businessman, yes. And this report is no different than MUFON putting out a report, it is far from official and anything but significant.

If any one of the contributor to the report had anything more substantial to discuss (like naming names, and actual whistle blowing) that would be different altogether.

Is was an interesting read when I read it years ago, but it didn't answer any real questions for me, plus I pretty much knew what was in it before I even read it. Now how would I know that you ask? Common sense, reason and logic.

It's significantly different because of the resumes of the Cometa group members. Comparing them to the board at Mufon is either a joke or you are badly misinformed, no knock on Mufon intended.

It's analogous to the Condon Report except it wasn't a predetermined whitewash. Condon used mostly Blue Book studies, Cometa used CNES studies. The resumes of the Condon Committees members were nowhere near as significant as Cometa's. You're doing a nice job living up to your user name.

Vallee gives his opinion of the COMETA report in the last few minutes of this video:

or this video has just that section:

And that's a pretty even handed analysis. Overhyped by the media giving the impression that the report was commissioned directly by the French government, which it was not, and significant because of the resumes of the panel members.
