Can we start an updated and running user-link list?

I'm wondering if there is a way to establish a master list of user-posted links and flag links that change or disappear. That would be really cool. It would take some working out but would be really useful. So many threads in the conspiracy forums alone contain lists of resources but get lost in the shuffle. Authors like wrathofnanunki (sp?) take a lot of time to put them together and it seems like the authors of such lists sort of start from "square one" every time.

A watched list could keep sites from being repeatedly posted in individual "master lists" along with the newer ones and could instead encourage new sources to be listed when found. or ?
