Awesome pic! When I see something like this, it makes me think that as a people we are as a whole far too distracted by frivolous things [TV, consumerism, etc] to even notice what is going on in the world around us. It is a sighting such as this which calls to mind the numerous omens and portents of doom recorded through the ages. We might have never known what the origins of these events were, but we sure knew they meant something. Here is a perfect example. Of course, such connections can only be made with hindsight.

I'm gonna be really, really annoyed if I die before hearing an explanation for at least some of the high weirdness that seems to happen on this rock.
