British law could soon be changed to allow small brothels in the UK. Small brothels with up to two workers and one receptionist would be allowed to
operate. The move is being made to try to lower the amount of illegal prostitutes and kerb-crallers in Britain. The Governement is also going to help
prostitutes with housing and drug problems.

Launching the new prostitution strategy for England and Wales, minister Fiona Mactaggart said that working in groups would be safer for women.
The strategy also means more kerb-crawlers could lose their driving licences, while prostitutes would get help over drugs and housing.
Ministers ditched earlier plans for licensed red-light zones, believing they could send out the wrong message.
But she said prostitution would not be eradicated "overnight" and evidence from sex workers suggested allowing them to work in pairs off the street
increased their personal safety.
"Very small scale operations can operate in a way that is not disruptive to neighbours."

Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world, so its about time the Government reviewed its position on the matter.
With small time brothels running it would mean less prostitutes on the streets, which is defnitly a good thing.
The Government and police must be sure to control the use of brothels though, nobody wants to see ten brothels on every street.
