Well given that every political leader that was about to inspire change in the country always seems to be assassinated by some "loner" type, I'd say it was a government job.

The American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr was killed in 1967, and a year later James Earl Ray was convicted for the murder.

Lawyer William Pepper has spent a quarter of a century trying to prove that Ray didn't pull the trigger.

I don't really have much to add to the debate if there is going to be one...other than what a waste of time and energy.

Dr. King was golden he lived his life, he was murder for some the choices he made, RIP, peace be upon him, end of story. Doesn't really matter who did it and even if you suspect it was the government good luck proving it. a quater of a century...damn.
