Today, I went to a café/tearoom, where one can have pancakes as much as you want, for a price of €4.

I was eating and drinking coffee as I liked, then a family came to sit next to me. They had two children, a boy and a girl, both adorable. Especially the girl, but the boy also. Kids say sometimes weird things.

As at a moment she said, a horse coming out of the water, but as I write this now, I recall, it's a beast coming out of the water, but still, aren't the horsemen the beasts?

She just said that and I was astonished by it. Kids are truth! They are it, they speak it, they just are marvelous, and they look so appealing. They're the greatest on earth. Much to be learned from them. Spontaneous as nothing else. Always on the spot. When they are just what they are, and offcourse, when parents don't make them do other stuff, but at least letting them be what they are.

The boy playing with a thing, a hanger with something on, it was like he tried to mention he was able to pendle, at the look on his face, I could see he said like, look dad, i'm pendling (sp?) and when I place it on the table I know what it said, or what it ment. I was like an eye opening moment for me, to what kids really are, they just are, unspoiled, truth, true.

Kids are great! I just love their nice and shiney faces, their eyes truth-revealing. hmm

I hope one day I have just such a little thing at my side, I hope I'll be a great dad.

Just mentioning what happened today.

kids are kids, they come up with bizzare notions all the time and it called growing up. Didn't you have a vivid imagination as a child?
Mind you with some of the content of your posts I believe you DO have a vivid imagination, your losing people with your babbling. Are you on drugs when writing on an avid Jim Morrison fan? Kinda poetic in a way!

"Truly wonderful the mind of a child is." —Yoda

they can see through some of the bs that we fall for, but then they still believe in the lies that those they trust feed them (tooth fairy, santa, easter bunny).

wonderful, indeed.
