Masonry is a secret society linked to a whole network of many other secret societies.
The overall governing secret society is called the Illuminati. At the same time Masonry is a Red Herring because Masons can live their whole life
without knowing the existence of the inner secret societies. Its one of those wink of the eye and tap of the nose things.
Sadly Secret Societies are open to abuse because Good and Bad people are involved in the societies. There are people who will use it for good and
people who will use it for their own gains above other people.
In a way Masonry is a Religion and at the same time it is not. You might be confused because Masons have Temples or Lodges that they meet at once a
week. Usually Sunday the Lords Day.
There is some debate between Masons themselves on whether it's a religion or not. I've met Masons who argued on either side of the issue. So it
really comes down to what you believe as an individual. Although the general consensus of opinion is that Masonry is a different type of Religion.
Masons do have their own God. The Arcitect of the Earth and the Universe. Outside religious beliefs are accepted.
Masonry is a gentlements club basically. Usually in any given town or city it's popular with the people involved in local businesses. You scratch my
back I'll scratch yours sort of thing. Although many people of many walks of life are members.
Masonry is popular among politicians and many Presidents were members of Masonry. The majority of the Founding Fathers were all Masons.
There are several different types of Masons.
You have your regular Masons. In small towns to small cities.
Then you have your Elite Masons. The big boys. The Millionaires of this
world. The Top one percent-five percent of society.
Then you have the Occult Masons. These people aren't really Masons though because it's a whole different story with that situation.
Masonic Creed:
There is one God, the Father of All men.
The Holy Bible is the Great Light in Masonry, and the Rule and Guie for Faith and Practice.
Man is immortal.
Character determines destiny.
Love of man is, next to loveof God, man's first duty.
Prayer, communion of man with God is helpful.
Recognizing the impossibility of confind the teaching of Masonry to any fixed forms of expression, yet acknowldesgs the value of authoritative
statements of fundamental prcinciples.
