What Is "The Real World"?

Has anyone notice how much people use the term "the real world"? I think the government and media have spewed out so much false information and half truths and have called it "real". People believe it to be "real" and are always refering it to be part of the "real world". What is the "real world" anyway? I think it is just some "fake" reality that the government and media has made up. What they (the media/government) call the "real world" is really a "fake world". They don't want people to know what the "real real world" is so they can distract us from what they are doing so they make stuff up and try to convince us that is is "real".
