Is tony Blair talking to the USDOJ about the Downing Street Memo and his role in the justification for the war in Iraq?

What would be the benefactor and what would be the diatribe?

Somebody somewhere is talking.....

IIRC there is a serious Government enquiry going on in the UK into who leaked the document.

As there is a US side or connection in all of this so why would enquiries with the US DOJ be so unusual?
I would have thought that something to expect as completely 'normal' regardless of whatever else is thought to be going on?

I'm from the U.S. so I am not quite as involved in your particular perspective. What is pertinent for us here in the US, and why I asked this question, is not wether or not Blair is talking about the leaking of the memo but rather the implications of the memo.
