Ukraine Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov and his Government are facing the sack after a no confidence motion was voted on in the Ukranian Parliament.
The motion was backed by 250 within the 450 seat parliament, following a scandal and deal with Russia that means Ukraine is facing paying over twice
as much for gas imports. Ukraine will be holding government election in March and Yuri Yekhanurov will remian acting Prime Minister until a new Prime
Minister is elected by Ukraine President Victor Yushchenko.

Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, sacked by Mr Yushchenko last September after the partnership that swept them to power in Ukraine's Orange
Revolution turned sour, was the driving force behind the no-confidence vote.
Ms Tymoshenko is competing against Mr Yushchenko's allies in the March 26 parliamentary polls, and has seized every opportunity to criticise the
Government of technocrat Mr Yekhanurov which replaced her.
She has vowed to fight the five-year gas deal signed by Moscow and Kiev last Thursday after a dispute which peaked over the New Year when Russia's
gas monopoly Gazprom cut supplies to its ex-Soviet neighbour for two days.

This new no confidence vote was led by Yulia Tymoshenko who was sacked herself as Prime Minister last year.
Interesting power movings happening within the country that has only just over the last few years gotten out from underneath the Umbrella of Russia.
Is this sour grapes or is there much more happening in the Ukraine that isn't making international News?
