Is there a place in the military camoflauge scheme for flat versions of glossy auto paint that changes colors depending on light source and angle of
view?
If a flat version of this paint could be accomplished.
I suspect that gloss is a requirement.

A separate question about airborne aircraft.
My experience has been, regardless of color, airplanes in silhouette are black so there wouldn't seem to be a big advantage with camo on in-flight
aircraft.
As you pointed out, more effective when the plane is parked.
