Other planned attacks on 9/11

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but i recently read that the attacks carried out on 9/11 were only part of what was originally planned.

Of all places, i stumbled upon this on wikipedia, then googled it and found a whole host of articles about it. The case of Mohammed Afroze who apparently "froze" along with his team of hijackers when waiting to board 2 flights to Manchester from Heathrow, with the plan to hijack and fly them into the British Parliament and Tower Bridge.

They fled whenever they saw on the news the extent of the attacks across the atlantic.

Also, planned but never actually put into action was a plot to fly planes into the Indian Parliament, a skyscraper in Melbourne and one in Seattle.

Anyone know anything about this?
