"In making the case for war against Iraq, Vice President Cheney has continued to suggest that an Iraqi intelligence agent met with a Sept. 11, 2001, hijacker five months before the attacks, even as the story was falling apart under scrutiny by the FBI, CIA and the foreign government that first made the allegation."

At least someone still believes there's a link between the two.

but are you retarded?

why on earth would you believe cheney?! look at him. the man screams "DISHONEST!!!!"

maybe you believed him when he came on fox news and said terrorists could attack at any minute and use unconventional targets like apartment buildings. this was july 2002.

maybe you believed him when he said he pulled out of halliburton before its "offshore investments"

maybe you believed him again when he emphasizes the need to get the weapons of mass destruction out of iraq while also toppling saddam.

those are the end of the freebies. if you believe this man, you have no hope left in you. you have surrendered your brain to the surrogate parasites that run this planet. congratulations and welcome to the club. it certainly isnt a lonely one

MC

You have engaged in some role reversal for Bush and Cheney.

It is Bush not toeing the Cheney line.

Cheney dismantled the intelligence agency inter-communications and set up the OSP to feed the admin nothing but bull# to sell Congress and the media and the public at large.

This is just rats deserting the sinking ship, Bush being the one most likely to jump in a vain attempt to save his skin.

Another good article about it.

www.commondreams.org...

"Bush Distances from Cheney on Saddam-9/11 Link"

They're floundering about like fish out of water, not even bothering to get their lies straight.

Believe nothing Cheney says.

but i doubt iraq has anything to do with it.

im sorry for the things i said earlier. to be honest, i was slightly enraged to see a canadian say that. you guys have more liberalised media that us yankees over here. so you should know better!

iraq has little to gain from buildings crumbling. especially since they were invaded 1.5 years after the fall of WTC.

israel on the other hand...
TPTB on the other hand...
defense contractors on the other hand...
fossil fuel companies on the other hand...
saudia arabia on the other hand...
ALL had something to gain from the fall of WTC.

unless you consider depleted uranium deposits and ruined and looted archaelogical ruins as values that the iraqis hold most dear, then, yes, iraq definitely had something to gain from 9/11

no prob Omega. I know wording of the sentence makes a different.
You're right about the media though. Theres a big difference on how things are showed on US channels like CNN and Non-US stations..You will not see the whole story on CNN, FOX etc...I myself do not bother watching the news as it they will always be censored in some way
