wifi max for the PSP

Hi there, i recently purchased the wifimax wireless wan USB adaptor and have been 3 days trying to get the thing to work,
I have installed the software and the server and have an active internet connection; every thing seems to be working on the computer.
I have set the network up on my psp and have scanned and found the wifi adaptor but when i test the connection it times out when trying to obtain the ip address.
Afterwards on my computer the wireless connection reads limited or no connectivity.

So if any one has one of these wifimax things and now’s how to get it working please feel free to tell me were im going wrong, thanks
