Watch out if to many people starts to buy the book you may get your name in the black list.

And your communications may be tap.

That's okay, I don't have any friends anyways! But I do talk to a very pretty Iranian girl via yahoo messenger... after the NSA was reported spying on citizens, it made me wonder if somehow they were tapping that communication....

NSA commander: Let me see them!

2hot4iran: Sup?
conspired69: Not much.
2hot4iran: what U doing?
conspired69: chillin.
2hot4iran: OMG ROFLMAO Th4ts ub3r c00l!

NSA commander: there talking in some encrypted code....hmm....fire the nukes!

yes also productive, is opening people's mail and listening to phone conversations... you hit the nail on the head with your sarcasm, it's not productive......

you also seem to suggest that somehow instant messaging is not a form of legitimate communications therefore, our government would just shrug their shoulders and not eavesdrop..... that is an incredibly ridiculous assumption

but i must be sooo paranoid to suggest something as silly as my IM's being monitored, especially when we have an administration that puts no limits on executive powers.... how nutty of me to think since GW said on TV, "if al-qaeda is calling you, we'd like to know about it"
al-qaeda = terrorists
bush = "You're either with us or you're with the terrorists"
iran = Not with us, according to this administration, must be with the terrorists
furthermore, we can assume "calling" = emailing, instant messaging, land line phone calls, cell phone calls, satellite phone calls, mail, freight (fedex, ups)

so obviously i base my thinking that i could have my IM's compromised on absolutely nothing other than my own craziness!

especially after it was reported that the NSA electronic eavesdropping was much more widespread than first thought

but far be it for our gov't to think that terrorists might use, dare i say it, instant messaging?

Gov't agent #1, "You know, those terrorists would never use instant messaging, it's just too technologically advanced!"
Gov't agent #2, "Yeah, I mean what do they know they take orders from some guy in a cave!"
Gov't agent #1 "Ahahaha!"
Gov't agent #2, "Ahahah oh that was a good one!"
Gov't agent #2, "They're probably still using courier pigeons to deliver messages. I want choppers in the skies and our special pigeon interceptor unit activated. Make sure you have sufficient resources on all migratory routes!"

Somewhat related to 'censored' US history is a book I bought a few years ago called 'Lies My Teacher Told Me.' In it the author compares 12 mainstream American History books against what really happened. There is much false and inaccurate information being taught as historical fact in High School American History classes. Also interesting are the facts and events that are ommitted.

Yes, this is a corruption of knowledge that I wish would stop. The companies that write these textbooks aren't even the ones to blame. there are those out there that try to get as much historically accurate and in-context information published and distributed to schools but it's the publishers choice. And there are often very conservative minds with deep pockets influencing the publishers. The education system in America is more concerned with presenting kids with names and dates rather than cause and effect. Modern textbooks are all filler with very little true historic representaion of the times. And regarding the apparent coup attempt, they definitely would not print a story such as that-it promotes a negative image for America. I've been searching and will continue searching for an article or reference concerning that event. Interesting post.

well other than giving a bad image, we don't need to dig very deep to see that some very well respected and influential people were involved, so much so that their names live on today in business and otherwise..... something like this could show their true intentions

The 1930's was also around the same time Congress disarmed the militia with the National Firearms Act in 1934. Disarming the people and then instituting a fascist state. This sounds exactly like how they would do it.

In fact although the book you're talking about, "Seven Days in May" is fiction it is based on the events of the early thirties described above.
One of the major reasons the plot failed was because General Smedley Butler refused to participate. He informed I believe, Congress or possibly the secret service. (It's been years since I read Butler's account and i am foggy on the details) The incident was hushed up due to the fact that several very prominent people were involved. As was supposedly the American Legion Kindest regards, Neil

This sounds eeirly familiar to what Hitler did in Germany. He tool the dissillusioned workers of post ww1 germany that he could make a difference. Looks like we were not far behind in the 30's on political ambition. Thank god it never got a stronghold in the main stream of society like germany. Could have made WW2 a much more interesting fight.

The coup in 1934 was organized by several key members of the financial worls including Carnagie, including Prescott Bush, grand-pappy of GWB, and daddy of GHWB.

Then, while GHWB was head of the CIA, 1979, an assassination attempt on Jimmy Carter was organized. The people blamed for this were Raymond Lee Harvey, Osvoldo Ortiz, and a group un unknown mexican hitmen. To me it seems pretty obvious that either the same people responsible for Kennedy's assassination were responsible for this attempt.

After that, Reagan was shot and very nearly killed in 1981, which would have put Bush in the Oval Office 8 years earlyier. THere are even images of Reagan being shot, and an unknown person crouching in a nearby 2nd story window.

It looks like whoever started the coup in 1934, didn't want to end it until they had a nice little government that they could control freely.

I knew about this...I forget where I read it but it was I guess back in the 80's. I forget the generals name right off the bat, but he is a hero in my book. What people tend to forget, is that in most political systems the hard right is by nature and inclination anti democratic. I know there are those who would take me to task for that statement but it is true.

I bolded the part of your text that got my attention........are you serious?? If so, I'd love to read more about it. Have you got any other info or a link to something about this?

Here's the stuff. The funny thing is how these people put the stuff right in our face, and people still dare to say it's not true.

Thanks, Rasobasi420........

That is just toooo weird. The people behind this seem to have absolutely NO fear, as well as a huge amount of ego.......they certainly feel that they can do whatever they please, get away with it, and go so far as to flaunt it right in our faces!!

International bankers own and control much of the world anyways today. So it looks like to me that they did capture the white house. Secular liberalism/humanism and globalism has led the United States right into the web of these weaving spiders.

Thw whole story of 'The Plot To Seize The Whitehouse' had started in mid 1933 when Retired Major General Smwdley Butler was visited by both Bill Doyle and Gerald Macguire, American Legion Officials who wanted Butler to run for the post of National Commander of the American Legion.Macguire returned a year later to inquire if Butler would lead a veterans march on Washington, DC., in order to help launch a revolt to save the country from Communism.
Sounds familiar to todays call for a holy war to save America from the 'Islamic Horde' that wants to destroy us, doesn't it?
Well, Smedley Butler played along for a while, gathering facts with the aid of a reporter before making the whole sordid affair public and testifying before Congress on this plot by business leaders who had banded together in something called the 'American Liberty Leaque.'
I think it took a lot of personal courage on Butlers part to do what he did in this case. A lesser man would not have had the moral fiber to stand up for his principles the way Butler did. I mean, with as evil as Communism has been IN PRACTICE, substituting National Socialism and/or Fascism would have been just as disasterous for this country as it proved to be for Germany, Italy, Japan and their allies before and during the Second World War.
To be honest, if you rid each of them of the terminology that they use, and boil down the seperate programs down to size, you can see that what they all preach is is a militant, totolitarian and racist philosophy that does nobody any good. But I digress on that point.
What Butler did is save this country from those who would have turned this country into something it didn't need to be turned into, which is a dictatorship. I, for one, thank him deeply for that.
