Yes, Israel is more likely to use the Nuclear option due to the size of their country. It wouldn't take much to wipe them out, but I don't believe they will go that route unless it's completely necessary. I still believe it's possible that they might bomb(conventional) Iran's nuclear development site. That's where the problem could start.
China and n. Korea are really the only threat to the continental United States. Iran doesn't have missiles that can reach. The only thing that might get us involved is the troop build-up we currently have in Iraq.
