In Denial About UFO Sighting

Right on tuesday me and my buddy were buzzin' around town and we went down to our school witch was closed this was about 9pm and pitch dark while we leaving we were pionting out stars and planets and stuff,anyways while i looked up i saw a thing moving a bright light going though the sky very high in the sky it flew though stopped and changed direction we tried to take a pic of it with or camrea phones but to no avail but the thing is my freind is in total denial about the whole thing,

Why?

why is it so bad just to admit it was a alien craft becuase it was obvusliy not a satilitte as we thought at first

Ridicule is the biggest motivator.

Even if he knows you believe, he still may be afraid.

I have ran into a couple times, and done it once myself.

I don't know why I did it I just felt compelled to explain it away.
