It's true the Templars weren't hunted down for nothing, but all serious historians agree that they were wiped out over money, not "mysterious knowledge".

The teachings of the ancient mystery school were rather mundane attempts to teach science, ethics, and philosophy. They were interesting, but possessed no earth-shattering knowledge. Plato described them as dramas intended to teach virtue. In this sense, they were probably pretty similar to Masonry.

Since you seem to have a firm grasp of who all the "serious" historians are in this ongoing debate and what they think,what is their unified take on the Templars' mysterious and newly aquired wealth and wisdom that amassed all of a sudden and what about the various ancient passages cut under the Temple Mount that they discovered?

About the Guidestones,I said I "think" they are,I didn't say this was an established fact. Like I told you earlier,educated speculation is needed in this arena. The Guidestones and apparent lack of authorship don't strike you as odd? None the less,the Illuminati IS a new age group. Hence the link.

Read my response to Masonic Light about the KT. There is basis for what I said. What people need to realize about the KT also is the history that surrounds them is mostly unaccounted for and highly debateable. That's why when someone says "serious historians" I tend to chuckle.

Serious historians, i.e., not novelists who profit from great tales of knighthood, but folks who actually have advanced scholastic degrees in history, and who study and investigate this stuff for a living.

Anyway, it is possible that the Templars excavated treasure. It's also possible that they became wealthy due to their odd circumstances (they were all sworn to poverty, but rich guys kept donating money to them; since they couldn't spend it, it accumulated quickly).

Regardless, Phillip the Fair doesn't seem the type to be interested in abstract mystical teachings. He was, however, interested in the Templar cash flow, and there is no doubt that it was the Templar bank account that led to their demise.

What is the evidence that the KT were digging underneath the ruins of solomon's temple? Especially odd considering that there are no ruins of his temple, but only of the later Temple. As for wealth, they grew wealthy because they were a military order that had the force of the church to back it, in an unstable region that has lots of wealth. People in that situation allways grow wealthy quickly.

The Illuminati does not exist in helping us at all! If you fall for that then you are being decieved as stated in 2 Thess. 2:11. I come from the Christian perspective which is the only truthful way to get to the bottom of these conspiracies (& understand them). There is good and bad, right and wrong. The message of Christianity is not any brainwashing into any religion(Jesus is not into that), but one of loving men's souls into an eternal realtionship with God in heaven.
