Still believe the Pyramid All Seeing Eye isn't a Masonic Emblem?

The All-Seeing Eye is used in freemasonry to represent the Creator - 'he who sees everything'. However it is by no means exclusive to freemasonry and was used commonly in the past to represent God. Huabamambo was therefore quite unexpectedly correct in saying that it symbolizes the Great Architect of the Universe, but mistaken in thinking that it had no other possible meanings or interpretations

The pyramid is not used in any ritual that I am familiar with, however the triangle is a commonly used symbol denoting many things, but most typically symbolizing the Holy Trinity. I am most familiar with its use in the Holy Royal Arch.

Doesn't the triangle also figure prominently in the disucssions about geometry and using it to figure out the distances between objects? That is how pike presents it in M&D, so far in my reading, anyway.

Yes. The Triangle is used in the York and (especially) Scottish Rites. Also, in the Scottish Rite, it is frequently used in the character of the Greek letter Delta. The symbol of the 14°, which is the Lodge of Perfection and the degree upon which Scottish Rite meetings are held, is the Hebrew letter Yod enclosed within a Delta.

Why does it matter if Masons use it? You say it like it's a bad thing..

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what powers this eye has over the free will of humanity...

What are the translations into English?

Deus Meumoue Jus"

Then the infamous "Ordo Ab Chao"

I think you might mean "Deus Meumque Jus" wich translates as "God and My Right". "Ordo Ab Chao" translates as "Order Out Of Chaos".

As for the whole eye in the Pryramid debate; anything I could post here would be vastly inferior to this:

Check it out.

I think that this misconception about the pyramid and the All-Seeing-Eye is a pretty common one, and I really can’t blame anyone who is not informed on the subject of symbolism for making the mistake . . . of course, a little research and study wouldn’t hurt anyone.

If you want to talk about ritual, then no, the pyramid does not figure into Craft Masonry at all. Period. No mention. Now then, if you want to talk about abstract ideas and correlations that can be made on one’s own, then the Pyramid(s) would probably be one of the best suited symbols to represent operative Masonry. I mean consider the men who built them! They had to be master craftsmen! It is a giant structure of mortar and stone; of course it’s easy to make that connection. The true fact of the matter is, however, that there is no reference to pyramids of any kind within the ritual.

The All-Seeing-Eye as a symbol for the Most High is quite appropriate when you consider the fact that God sees all. There is nothing you can hide from God; he knows your deepest darkest secrets. Therefore, this symbol is to remind the Mason of this. It doesn’t sound as interesting as the Ancient Egyptian cult bit, but hey, whaddya do?

As for the Illuminati? I have seen no empirical evidence to even suggest their continued existence after 1789.

The people you describe that are running this 3-ring circus are FAR from enlightened in any sense of the word.

P.S. Ironically enough, a good portion of the men whom you quoted in your above post were Masons.

Also, in regards to the Illuminati, even if they contiuned to exist, what of it? Their records were captured from the house of one of their heads, their symbols were laid out. I have never heard of the eye in the triangle or eye in the pyramid being amoung those symbols.

I could be wrong on that, but I've yet to see any one show that.
