Even before the dust from the collapses settled, hundreds of construction workers, firemen, rescue specialists etc, from around the country rushed to the scene to lend a hand.

How dare you presume to denigrate the noble and worthwhile self sacrifice that these people made.

Next I bet you will claim that the people killed in the attacks were “in on it” also.

Er, not exactly . . .

1. The “Chief Architech” as you call him for the WTC towers was Minoru Yamasaki, who died in 1986. The structural engineer was Leslie Robinson.
   
   
2. Being able to withstand the impact of an airplane was never a design criteria for the building.
   
   
3. After the building design was completed, Robinson calculated that the building would be able to withstand the impact of a 707. He assumed a plane to be flying at slow speeds on a landing approach. His calculations were correct; the building did withstand the airplane impact.
   
   
4. Robinson did not take into account the potential for large scale fires in the building as a result of the impact.
