For background throughout your presentation:
click format
select background
click the "drop down" and choose "fill effects"
click on the "picture" tab at the top.
locate picture file then click "ok"
now choose "apply to all"
done.
As for including sound:
simply click "insert" choose "movies and sounds", then select the appropriate source.

Oh... once the project is finished/saved ALL required info/files will be contained therein. Burn it to a disk, put it on a memory stick, etc.
