Once again the wall crumbles and while the weeping willow sways in the wind and does not break. It has weather many storms and will continue to.

Sometimes it is like tell a male shovonist that he is a pig. but he keeps spouting its the american way nothing is wrong with that. Look into your heart why do you treat someone different because they are another color?

The numbers will be there soon for real representative government then we will see what will be next.
Iknow a lot of fed up people on all sides then thtings will change.

BT, that was kinda poetic there...

Didnt you say on another thread that you are Rasta?

Kinda funny that everyone is convinced the Rasta is spreading the hate...

That might explain some of the extra police scrutiny you've (BT) described, as Rastas kind of stick out and are known for smoking marijuana.

As do a lot of really smart, good people, my friend.

Dont turn this into a smokers roast, you will lose.

Most of the police scrutiny happend before I locked my hair. Clean cut with suits it does not matter what is on top of my head it is what is in it.

This is shedding some light on the situation now.
If you hang out with a drug crowd it won't matter if they're black or white you'll probably be getting a lot of extra attention from the police.

You've been viewing it as racism when it probably has a lot more to do with the type of crowd you're hangng with rather than the race of the crowd you're hanging with.

No actually he was making a good point. Most rastas do stick out in a crowd. And it is much easier to pick on some one (right or wrong) when they stick out of a crowd.

As far as rastas spreading hate. I dont know about that but i have worked with a few who just plainly did not like white people. And the one that i actually did befriend (we both had something in common and im shure you can figure it out...he was rasta after all) said that most of them did not like white people (he had lived here for about 10 years or so and had outgrown the whole hate whitey thing) . I think he actually used the word hate but i cant remember. He said this was especially true of the islanders who were new to the country.

That is something i can finally totally agree with you on. If every one was judged in that capacity the world would be a different place.

I have been pulled over for speeding and happened to have a black friend with me. It was a whole new situation. I am a pretty clean cut guy. I work a white collar job. My friend was no different. We werent smoking. The cop was a complete jerk. He asked us out, searched us both, searched my car, and broke my cd changer cause he was convinced I had something hid in there. The police department reimbursed me for the changer, but the incident has made me forever nervous about driving with my minority friends, especially if we are smoking.
The retelling of the incident among friends prompted a lot of sad stories about how a few of my black and hispanic friends have been treated. I can honestly say that of the few times a cop has ever been especially rude to me, only once was it due to my mouth or behavior. I have had numerous run ins with the law that I was treated with dignity and respect. Hang out with a couple minorities and ask them how they feel. Most are scared to death to reach for a wallet in a cops presense.

Ace most of the drug crowd hold down good jobs so if you include the wall street boys with coc aine, the country kids with meth, the rave kids with E, the hip hop kids with weed, the rich old ladies with valum(For nerves of course!!) And everyone who takes perscription pills for leg jerking to not feeling bad in a crowed room. We thats everyone!! That is the point i was getting to who is a drug user and who looks like a drug user? That is where the stereotypes come in and the white boy on the train does not look like one but he might be high on coke just to keep up with work! But hes ok right?

word funk!! maybe he will believe you.

Got a new one for ya fellas!

Me and a friend of mine were pulled over yesterday for absolutely nothing. I wasnt speeding, swerving, or breaking any laws at all. I also happened to have my friend (a black guy) with me. The cop started polite, and when I refused to allow him to search my car he got irate. He wouldnt even tell me why he pulled me over. I told him if he had probable cause he didnt need my permission to search, and if he was asking for my permission to ransack my belongings he was gonna need a warrant. I had nothing to hide so I stood fast for my rights. He then realized it was not my first rodeo so he started to pester my friend. He immediatly changed his tone to this wanna-be gangsta accent, and kept calling him bro. My pal has a 13 year old felony gun charge that he has to explain every time he encounters the law. He was 17! It wasnt really demeaning, but why the change in tone? Why grill the guy about an old lifestyle? He never mentioned my assault charge, or any old offenses of mine.
Long story short, he pulled us from the car and asked us where we were going seperately to make sure we werent robbin banks or whatever. Then he searched the hell out of my ride and gave some crap excuse about some guys fitting our description being out on the run. Why did he need 5 minutes to think this up? Is it illegal for some honkey in the nice car to hang with a black dude he has known since high school?
How convenient that this incident happens only hours before I post on a board about racism in America. If we had been a little more outspoken about this I am sure he would have found reason to arrest both of us. We have both delt with this so many times that you learn the right words and body language to use to speed things along. It is a bad time to be a proud american, much less a proud black man. I was pushing it by denying his search, even though it happened anyway.

Anyways, thats the end of storytime...

For anyone even remotely interested in learning about racism in the courts, read anything by Mumia Abu Jamal. I wont give the whole story, just GOOGLE.

If anyone is truly interested in white nationalism.....(which with the biasness of this board I doubt highly, even the rastas nation of islam who preach "death to the white devil" is ok)

national alliance

storm front

and there are a host of other good sites that if you would take the time to read you will appreciate their viewpoint more.

So you're endorsing those racist websites???
And why are you assuming that rasta's preach death to the white devil??? And why do you think that rasta's are nation of islam???

And why are you assuming that any form of racism would be acceptable here on ATS???

I have one smiley for you:
