F/A-22 to be renamed , its now the F-22A thats official :P

hi - i never fully understood the vagaries of the US aircraft designations . so i am more bemused than anything to discover that " F/A-22 " is wrong

they used to have a reasonable syestem back in WWII with the P = pursuit , B= bomber . A= ATTACK etc and consequitive numbers . but at some point it all went awry

at least this is a stell in a right direction

the only BUT is - how much will it cost ???????????????
