Officials in at least two nations now suspect the avian flu bug has mutated into a virus that is being transmitted from human to human – a development world health authorities have estimated could result in the deaths of tens of millions.

Thai health officials have expressed concern that the country's two latest confirmed victims may be the beginning of the much feared human-to-human transmission.

This is a great article but you're REALLY breaking a lot of copyright laws by reprinting the whole thing.

Normally we introduce the topic in our OWN words - pull a few quotes - and make comments.

I thought the virus only began to mutate, and hasn't actually taken the step to be for it to able to be contracted from another person...

Tell that to the people who have not contacted a bird in years, and when they tend there family members who got sick from visiting the zoo earlier they also get it. And when the governments have to tell you(after many hundreds die and its undeniable that its spreading), it will be too late. Some people have to feel fire to believe it is hot.
