Recent posts scroller...?

Just curious if the Recent posts section on the top left of the discussion board main page, can be made with a scroller in the future, like the Recent Blog Posts in the top middle does .

I think with all the posts I feel it would be nice to scroll thru the top 20 or so recent posts, as with all the activity I miss some I wish I could easily reference from there without searching for it, as I look there often for the current topics of conversation and debate. I like the way the blogs scroller works, just kinda think it would be nice on the recent posts also.
